Konyo Shrine
This shrine, dedicated to Aoki Konyo as the "God of Potatoes," was founded in 1846.
It is said that after Aoki Konyo's death, during the Great Tenmei and Tenpo Famines, no one in this region starved to death thanks to the sweet potatoes he had popularized. This monument was erected by local people to commemorate his great achievements.
Excellent accessibility, just a 1-minute walk from Keisei Makuhari Station.
